JHB // Lindt Sandton

Lindt01

When I was in New York last year Kyla and I went to the Lindt store in 5th avenue we almost lost our crazy little minds over the little Lindt balls in the millions of different flavours. I thought I would have to wait YEARS to experience that again. But no. Lindt – Design Quarter and Sandton City – has brought the magic to South Africa. Coconut, Irish Creme, Strawberries & Cream, Caramel, Dark, Milk, White…. (Coconut is the best by the way).

JHB // The Jungle

The menu was quite simple but has enough options to cover any mood. It isn’t particularly health orientated, but if you eat eggs you can have a healthy eggs & sausage et al type breakfast. The food was DELICIOUS. Really tasty… I love food that is simple but has been cooked with care – and that’s exactly what it tasted like.

JHB // The Greenside Cafe

Kyla and I very rarely get to eat together. And when we do we eat properly. We generally roll out of whatever long-deliberated, very special and, quite frankly, lucky establishment stuffed full and happy. We choose our occasional restaurants very carefully to ensure that the experience is memorable and, more importantly, our food-obessessed selves leave feeling satisfied.

JHB // CRAFT

Craft-02

Can’t believe I haven’t posted on CRAFT yet. It is by far my favourite restaurant at the moment. Obviously we don’t eat out ALL the time, in fact it’s quite few and far between, but when we do Craft is almost always top of my list. AND they have just introduced a new menu!! Which has even more healthy / paleo friendly options!!
